Jackrabbits, Lady Rabbits drop 2 games

The Lonoke Jackrabbits and Lady Jackrabbits both dropped two conference games last week at the Gina Cox Center.

Jackrabbits fall to Mets in OT
E-Stem outscored Lonoke 8-5 in overtime to beat the Jackrabbits 57-54 on Friday.
The score was tied 49-49 at the end of regulation. 
Nick Bates and Isaac Toney each scored two points in the extra period. Brenton Bryant hit 1 of 2 free throws.
The Jackrabbits led 15-7 after one quarter and 23-21 at halftime. 
Toney led Lonoke with 18 points. Jawaun Bryant had 17. Byron Fair, Brenton Bryant and Justin Meadows had 4 points each. Bryson Jackson had 3. Bates and Tyler Spencer scored 2 points each. 
Lonoke lost to Riverview 60-40 on Tuesday. 
Riverview led 26-19 at halftime then outscored the Jackrabbits 34-21 in the second half. 
Jackson led Lonoke with 14 points. Bates and Jawaun Bryant had 7 points each. Spencer had 4. Kylan Branscomb and Toney had 3 points each. Meadows scored 2. 

Lonoke's Jasalyn Truelove looks to pass. 


Lady Rabbits 
The Lonoke Lady Jackrabbits fell to 3-5 in 4A-2 play with losses to e-Stem and Riverview last week.
Riverview knocked off Lonoke 58-38 on Tuesday. 
The Lady Raiders led 22-9 after one quarter and 36-21 at halftime. 
Eboni Willis led Lonoke with 14 points. Amanda Sexton added 9. Jarrelyn McCall scored 5. Ashlyn Allen had 4. Riely Rowton and Kimistri Ballance had 3 points each. 
Lonoke fell to e-Steam 55-46 on Friday night. 
Lonoke trailed 17-12 after one quarter and 30-20 at halftime. 
McCall led Lonoke with 18 points. Willis scored 12. Sexton had 8. Allen had 4. Rowton and Kerasha Johnson scored 2 points each.
