LONOKE
— The Carlisle Bison and Lady Bison finished the Goldfish Classic with
identical 1-2 records. After dropping their first games, each team won
their consolation game before dropping close decisions in the
fifth-place games.

Lady Bison beat Des Arc on buzzer-beater
The Carlisle Lady Bison bounced back from their loss to E-Stem with a 34-33 win over Des Arc on Monday.
Carlisle's
Kylie Warren banked in a 35-foot 3-pointer as time expired to give the
Lady Bison the victory over fellow 2A-6 member Des Arc.
The
Lady Eagles led most of the game, including 18-10 at halftime. Carlisle
scored only point in the second quarter — a free throw by Warren.
Warren
scored 22 of Carlisle's 24 second-half points, including the
game-winner. She finished with 27 points. Peyton Hitchings had 5. Elex
McClain had 2.
Carlisle then fell to Bald Knob 51-42 in the fifth-place game.
The
Lady Bison trailed 12-8 after one quarter and 20-15 at halftime.
Carlisle made a run in the third quarter, outscoring the Lady Bulldogs
16-12 but Bald Knob made 6 of 7 free throws in the final 8 minutes.
Warren led Carlisle with 12 points. McClain and Molli Weems had 10 points each. Hitchings and Kayla Golleher had 5 points each.
The Lady Bison are now 9-4 on the season.

Bison beat Bald Knob for second win
The Carlisle Bison got their second win of the season Monday, beating Bald Knob 58-49.
Carlisle led 12-11 after one quarter and 27-22 at halftime.
The Bulldogs cut the deficit to 36-34 after three quarters.
Carlisle outscored Bald Knob 22-15 in the fourth quarter. The Bison made 13 of 21 free throws in the final 8 minutes.
For the game, Carlisle made 20 of 34 free throws in the victory.
Devon
Kendrick and Nick Schafer led the Bison with 16 points apiece. Bryden
Weems had 15. Dominic Castleberry had 8. Cole Sheets scored 3.
The Bison then dropped another close game to Hazen in the fifth-place game. The Hornets won 52-46.
Hazen led 26-14 at halftime. The Bison outscored Hazen 14-10 in the third quarter to get close.
Kendrick
led the Bison with 15 points. Weems added 9. Castleberry had 7. Schafer
finished with 6 and Lewis Bunch added a 3-pointer.
