Jr. Lady Jackrabbits win Bradford tourney

BRADFORD — The Lonoke Junior Lady Jackrabbits overcame poor free throw shooting to beat Harding Academy 36-28 to win the Bradford Junior High Invitational Tournament on Saturday night. 
Lonoke made only 6 of 29 free throws in the victory, making none in the second half. 
The score was tied 6-6 after one quarter. Keiunna Walker scored 4 for Lonoke while Mia Brown and Kaley Woodruff each hit a free throw.
The score was tied 11-11 at halftime. Walker scored 4 more points for the Junior Lady Jackrabbits. 
The difference in the game was the third quarter as Lonoke outscored Harding 14-3 to lead 25-14. Walker scored 6. Mickenzie Williams, Maddie Pool and Kennedy White scored 2 points each during the third quarter.
Walker led Lonoke with 18 points. Williams and Pool had 5 points each. White had 4. Brown scored 3. Woodruff added 1.
