Bison get 4th win; Lady Bison win third consecutive conference title

The Carlisle Bison and Lady Bison swept McCrory on Friday night to end the regular season.
The Bison's win was their fourth of the season and gave them a season sweep of the Jaguars, who are coached by former Carlisle coach Jeremiah Quattlebaum.
The Lady Bison improved to 19-7 overall and 16-2 in 2A-6 play, giving the Lady Bison their third consecutive conference championship under fourth-year coach Jonathan Buffalo. 
In the boys game, Carlisle rallied to win 78-65. 
McCrory led 19-13 after one quarter and 37-21 in the second quarter before rallying to trail 41-37 at halftime. 
Carlisle led 49-45 after three quarters. 
Brynden Weems led the Bison with 24 points. Devon Kendrick had 17. Nick Schafer added 15. Dominic Castleberry and Drake Adams had 8 points each. Adams hit two 3-pointers in the fourth quarter. Zach Caviness had 4 points while Cole Sheets added 3. 
The Lady Bison beat McCrory 64-44. 
The score was tied 15-15 after one quarter but Carlisle led 33-22 at halftime and 48-37 after three quarters.
The Lady Bison pulled away in the fourth quarter to get the win.
Kylie Warren led Carlisle with 25 points. Peyton Hitchings had 15. Elex McClain had 8. Kayla Golleher added 7. Nikita Perry scored six. Ashby Terry and Kimberly Lott had 3 points each. 
The Lady Bison also beat Marvell 65-12 last week.
The score was tied 6-6 the first quarter. The Lady Bison ended the game on a 59-6 run. 
Warren led Carlisle with 20 points. Hitchings had 12. Terry scored 9. Nicquira Burnett and Harper had 6 points each. Scoring 4 each were Madeleine Brown, McClain and Golleher.
