Jack Keith, the defensive coordinator at Carlisle, was promoted to head coach, replacing Brandon Barbaree, who resigned last month to become an administrator at Pangburn.
Keith came to Carlisle a year ago after a stint at Warren.
The Carlisle School Board approved his hiring during a special meeting Thursday night.
