JACKRABBITS
The Lonoke Jackrabbits dropped a pair of conference games last week. Lonoke lost to Bauxite 54-46 then fell at Joe T. Robinson 52-46 on Friday.
In Friday’s game against the Senators, Lonoke was scoreless in the first quarter then trailed 22-11 at halftime.
The Jackrabbits then scored 17 points in the third quarter to cut the deficit to 35-28 heading into the fourth quarter.
Lonoke outscored the Senators 18-17 in the fourth quarter but it wasn’t enough to overcome the scoreless first quarter.
Tony Bryant led Lonoke with 16 points. Tyriqe Jackson added 13. DeAneglo Noid had 12. E’Shawn Brown and Braidon Bryant had two points each.
“It was a very physical game,” Lonoke coach Dean Campell said. “It took us a quarter to get used to it. A 0-9 first quarter real y hurt.
“We guarded better and competed on the boards. We had too many turnovers that led to baskets for them.”
In the loss to Bauxite, Lonke trailed 15-10 and 29-21 at halftime.
Noid led Lonoke with 17 points. Tony Bryant had 15. Tony Jackson added six. Scoring two each were Braidon Bryant, Isaiah Thomas, Brown, Jayden Johnson.

LADY JACKRABBITS
The Lonoke Lady Jackrabbits won two games last week, beating Bauxite then Joe T. Robinson.
In the 39-28 win over Bauxite, Lonoke led 11-8 after one quarter but the score was tied 18-18 at halftime.
Lonoke put on the defensive clamps in the second half, limiting the Lady Miners to only five points in both the third and fourth quarters.

Keiunna Walker led Lonoke with 26 points. Mia Brown had six. Kennedy White added rive. Hannah Moseley added two.
